Čertův Důl: Hotels and Accommodation
At the foot of Srázný lies a historic mining site with a small, partially underground limestone quarry. The site is located on the eastern slope of Srázný, near the blue hiking trail at the upper end of Čertův Důl.
History
In the 1950s and 1960s, exploratory work was carried out on the slopes of Srázný around Čertův Důl to prospect for uranium mineralization. The historic Čertův Důl workings lead into an approximately 8-meter-long underground chamber. The historic quarry extends for approximately 50 meters, following a roughly northeast-southwest direction. Historically, Čertův Důl was known by the German name Geiersgraben.
Landscape
The landscape character assessment of the Orlické hory Protected Landscape Area lists Čertův Důl as MKR 1.7, the settled part of the valley of the Čertovodolský potok, which is now largely overgrown.

The marked blue hiking trail leads from Čertův Důl to Orlické Záhoří; Orlické Záhoří is listed as 6.5 km away. Cycle route 4308 continues via Pod Homolí to Velká Deštná or Anenský vrch.
