Nature and Landscape

Mýtinka lies north of road I/64. The Stodolský potok stream flows through the village. The local “Na Stodolském potoce” biocentre extends across the cadastral areas of Zelený Háj and Mýtinka u Poustky and consists of a shallow, wooded valley with a strip of alder trees along the stream.

Antonínova Výšina in the Mýtinka u Poustky area is a low rise above a shallow stream valley and a contiguous wooded area along the stream.

Hiking and Cycling

In the vicinity of Mýtinka, a 16-kilometre excursion from Františkovy Lázně to the SOOS National Nature Reserve leads via Antonínova Výšina; the route follows a green-marked hiking trail.

National Cycle Route 23 (Krušné hory Magistrale) passes through Mýtinka (Rossenreuth) at kilometre 15 on the Cheb–Luby section. Immediately after crossing the busy Cheb–Aš road, it runs past the Mýtinka farmstead.

History and Events

Mýtinka was first mentioned in historical texts in 1395. Mýtinka (Rossenreuth) was formerly a small settlement with six farmsteads.

In the vicinity of Mýtinka, Seeberg Castle hosts a traditional historical fair, a wine festival, and various concerts and events for children and adults every year.
