The sights of Vintířov include half-timbered house no. 25. Another historic column on the road to Chodov has been restored. In the center of Vintířov, on the right bank of the Vintířovský potok and along the main road, the pseudo-Gothic municipal chapel of St. Anne was built in 1906. The chapel was completely reconstructed in 2006. Rockfest Vintířov is a traditional music event.

In the wider regional surroundings of Vintířov are the Ostrov Monastery, the church of Zwota and the church of Bad Brambach, St. Michael.

The forest park in Vintířov offers seating, exercise equipment for seniors, a workout wall and opportunities for inline skating. The Vintířov Sports Center offers bowling, squash, fitness and table tennis. Cycle Route 2012 leads from Vintířov via Chodov, Nová Role and Velký Rybník to Hroznětín and is 26 kilometers long.

The Velká krušnohorská výsypka educational trail was created west of Vintířov, leading to the spoil heap. Velká krušnohorská výsypka is an artificial hill created by extensive lignite mining and the subsequent reclamation of the landscape.

The mountains Buková, Chrudim, Lobezský vrch and Díže are located in the vicinity of Vintířov.
