Bohdíkov: Hotels and Accommodation
In Bohdíkov, architectural history and nature meet in a clearly tangible local setting.
Culture and History
The Church of St Peter and St Paul (“Kostel sv. Petra a Pavla”) is a Baroque church built in 1725 and listed as an immovable cultural monument. Visible from a distance as a landmark, it has a semicircular apse and a square tower.
The Tvrz – house no. 55 was declared a state cultural monument in 2000. It is Bohdíkov’s oldest building and preserves a Renaissance core dating from the second half of the 16th century.
Nature and Landscape
The Na Hadci protected area covers 56 ha and lies above Raškov. It comprises relict pine stands on serpentine rock outcrops, surrounded by fir-beech and maple-beech forests. As a nature reserve, Na Hadci protects communities on serpentine rocks, fragments of pine and beech forests, as well as characteristic weathering formations.
Štola Mařka is located on the grounds of the abandoned Exler quarry in Bohdíkov. In the Šumperk District, it is the largest wintering site for rare bat species. From the entrance, Štola is accessible for a length of 320 m.
