Stavenice: Hotels and Accommodation

Hradisko-Hradiště, also known as U Josefa, is located on Hradisko Hill above the left bank of the Morava River in Doubrava Forest, but already within the cadastral area of Stavenice.

Archaeological finds date Hradisko-Hradiště to the 10th century; ceramic finds also indicate that the site was used in the second half of the 13th century.

Near House No. 48 stands a unique folk stone cross from 1816 in the Empire style, reconstructed in 2009. The crucifix with Christ is complemented by a Madonna with two angels and a relief of Saint Mary Magdalene.

The wayside shrine in the western part of Stavenice, between Houses No. 1 and 40, dates from the end of the 18th century and was reconstructed in 2011. Due to its size, the wayside shrine is exceptional in the built-up area of the village and is architecturally impressive.

The Chapel of St. Florian contains a painting of Saint Florian above the altar.

The burial ground consists of a group of mounds of varying sizes. Nineteen were identified in 1953; a subsequent field inspection identified at least seven mound structures.

Part of the cadastral area of Stavenice lies within the Litovelské Pomoraví Protected Landscape Area. The Doubrava Nature Reserve also includes cadastral areas of Stavenice.

Driving cars into the Doubrava Nature Reserve, camping, picking plants, and collecting or disturbing animals are prohibited.

A short section of Cycle Route 51 runs along Road III/31540 through the Stavenice area towards Třeština; the route connects, among other places, Mohelnice and Třeština.
