Hoštejn: Hotels and accommodations

The monument commemorating the completion of the Olomouc–Praha railway is located in the area of the Hoštejn castle ruins. This monument is an immovable cultural monument. On the Hoštejn Hradiště, remnants of the walls of a former Gothic castle have also been preserved; the fortification system of the Hoštejn Hradiště extends over 450 meters.

Construction of the present-day Church of St. Anne in Hoštejn began in 1867, and it was completed two years later. The rectory in Hoštejn was built in 1809 or 1810. In addition, the Muzeum naší dědiny museum offers an insight into local history; it can be visited by prior appointment.

The pilgrimage to St. Anne in Hoštejn traditionally takes place on the first Sunday after the feast of St. Anne. Thus, an annually recurring religious custom is one of the area's distinctive features.

The Srní educational trail can be reached from the Hoštejn škola bus stop and from Hoštejn railway station. For cyclists, the 18-kilometer “Na kole po památkách” cycling loop runs via Kosov to Hoštejn, where it connects to cycling route No. 6232.

Another connection is provided by the 25-kilometer “Na kole okolím Zábřeha II” cycling loop. It leads to Hoštejn via cycling routes No. 521 and 6232.

The Cukrová Bouda mountain is located in the vicinity of Hoštejn. The Hrad Brníčko castle and the Lazek, Skalka, and Obora mountains are also located in the vicinity of Hoštejn. The Nový Hrad ruin is located in the wider regional surroundings of Hoštejn.
