Police: Hotels and Accommodation

The historic landmark of Police is the subsidiary Church of St. Nicholas, featuring a Gothic core and later Baroque alterations. The church preserves a bell cast in 1497 in honor of Saint Nicholas and a Gothic sandstone baptismal font.

The Síň selských tradic exhibition traces the history of Police from the earliest archaeological finds to the present day. As a rural exhibition in Police, it displays exhibits relating to the folk history of the municipality and its surroundings. It also includes a priestly leather vestment embroidered with gold, which was discovered during the restoration of the local Church of St. Nicholas.

The listed Empire Pietà group in Police dates from 1843.

Preisův mlýn is a preserved and fully operational mill and is one of the most distinctive landmarks of Police. A tour of the technical equipment at Preisův mlýn can be arranged directly with the owner.

The lime tree known as “Urbáškova lípa” is a remarkable tree near the Chapel of the Holy Trinity and a pond on the road from Police to Úsov.

Cycle route 6026 leads from Dubicko over the hill of Police and down toward the local pond.
