Velké Losiny: Hotels and accommodations
In Velké Losiny, the Ruční papírna Velké Losiny complex was declared a national cultural monument in 2002. Today, the manufactory is one of the oldest companies of its kind still in operation in Europe. Ruční papírna Velké Losiny offers a tour that includes the introductory tour and the production of your own handmade sheet of paper.
Culture
The tour route of Velké Losiny Chateau includes rare preserved Renaissance interiors and an arcade walkway. Unique leather and textile wallpapers as well as 17th-century tapestries can be seen; the route also includes a reminder of the witch trials.
Water and sauna
TERMÁLY LOSINY has nine thermal pools with a water temperature of up to 36 °C. The sauna world offers four types of sauna. The indoor and outdoor pools are supplied by the natural Žerotín thermal spring, which rises from a depth of more than 1,000 m.
Step-free access to the sauna area at TERMÁLY LOSINY is possible via a lift from the swimming hall.
Educational trails and routes
The “Around Trees That Have Experienced Something” educational trail passes through part of Velké Losiny and presents the stories of twenty trees. It has 20 stops and is approximately 5 km long. The educational trail is suitable for children, strollers, and wheelchair users.
The “Velké Losiny Educational Trail” begins at the Church of Saint John the Baptist and offers views of the ridge of the Jeseníky Mountains.
The Velké Losiny–Rapotín hiking route leads from Lázně Velké Losiny via Velké Losiny Chateau in the direction of Rapotín. It runs mostly along the Desná River.
