Sedliště Nad Úslavou: Hotels and Accommodation

The first documented written records of Sedliště date back to 1552. In front of the chapel on the village square stands a memorial cross with a cylindrical shaft. Also on the village square, at farm no. 30, is a grain store built using a log construction method and featuring distinctive exterior cladding.

Outside Sedliště, a former manor farm stands on a slope above the road, with a small pond nearby. The history of Sedliště is also closely connected with the fortunes of the monastery below Zelená Hora. The former school building from the 1920s to the 1930s now houses the Sedliště municipal office. Its impressively designed and newly restored façade is also part of the local character.

The Čížkovský potok stream flows along the southern edge of the Sedliště administrative area. Near Srby, it flows into the Úslava. The built-up area lies in an agricultural landscape with a high proportion of woodland.

A marked hiking trail runs through the Doubrava forest complex (Bábin vrch) along the northwestern edge of the cadastral area of Sedliště nad Úslavou. The entire administrative area is crisscrossed by field and forest paths that form suitable tourist routes.

The published cycling tour “Za výhledy přes hory a doly” passes through Sedliště and then continues via Srby and along CT 31.

Road III/17717 runs north and provides a road connection between Sedliště and other municipalities in the wider surrounding area. Sedliště is served by bus transport.
