Culture and History
Čakovice Castle was created in 1735 by converting a former fortress. Every year, its courtyard hosts Zámecká noc.
The Church of St. Remigius in Čakovice was built in the Romanesque Revival style. It is the only church of this name in the Czech Republic, and classical music concerts are held there.
The former Čakovice sugar factory was built by the Schoeller family in the mid-19th century.
