Culture and History
Čakovice Castle was created in 1735 by converting a former fortress. Every year, its courtyard hosts Zámecká noc.
The Church of St. Remigius in ÄŒakovice was built in the Romanesque Revival style. It is the only church of this name in the Czech Republic, and classical music concerts are held there.
The former ÄŒakovice sugar factory was built by the Schoeller family in the mid-19th century.

Part of ÄŒakovice Castle Park serves as a biocorridor. The largest circular element in ÄŒakovice Castle Park consists of a pond with water lilies and a rose garden.
Husův Park in Čakovice covers approximately 7 hectares.

Transport
PID railway line S34 runs between Praha Masarykovo nádražà station and Praha-Čakovice. The Praha-Čakovice station building is wheelchair accessible.
