Řemíčov: Hotels and accommodations

Silver ore mining in the area around Řemíčov began under František Küenburg in the mid-18th century. From 1757 to 1762, the Küenburgs extracted 2,713 kg of pure silver from the Řemíčov mines.

The “Leopoldova štola” heritage adit was opened in Řemíčov near House No. 1. A marble plaque on House No. 1 in Řemíčov commemorates the silver works founded there in 1751. House No. 1 originally served as the residence of the supervising mining official, accommodation for miners, and for other operational purposes related to mining.

The “Sv. Trojice štola” adit was built south of Řemíčov at the site where the mining settlement of Starý Cech was later established.

The “Stříbrná osmička” educational trail passes through Řemíčov, is approximately 50 km long, and is also suitable for cyclists. The green-marked hiking trail runs through Řemíčov and continues via Mladá Vožice, Pavlov, Staniměřice, and Smilovy Hory.

Cycling Route No. 1177 passes through Řemíčov and continues via Louňovice pod Blaníkem, Předbořice, Kamberk, Skrýšov, Šebířov, Mladá Vožice, Stará Vožice, Hlasivo, Ratibořice, Jeníčkova Lhota, Čekanice, and Tábor. Route 1177 is 32 km long and has a moderate difficulty level.

The area around Řemíčov features a South Bohemian landscape with fields, meadows, copses, and larger forested areas.

There is a chapel in the Buková district of Řemíčov. Buková is also home to a commemorative oak tree.
