Culture

The Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary stands in the center of Chrbonín. Its year of construction is unknown. It replaced an earlier bell tower at the intersection near house number 30. Repairs to the chapel were completed in August 2024.

A traditional Masopust carnival with a masked procession and an evening social gathering was planned in Chrbonín for February 7, 2026.

History

Chrbonín originally belonged to the Choustník estate, after 1620 to the Radenín estate, and later, until 1878, to the Kolowrat-Krakowský family. The original settlement site of Chrbonín is designated by the field name "V Liškách".

Nature

The Chrbonínský potok stream flows through Chrbonín. East of the village, the Lípa rodáků memorial lime tree was planted on May 8, 1989.
