Chotěmice: Hotels and accommodation

The first written record of Chotěmice dates back to 1381. The fortress of Beneš of Chotěmice, which existed in the 14th century, disappeared at the end of the 16th century; a farmyard remained. The site of the former Chotěmice fortress is still visible behind the Chotěmský farmyard, and the grounds of the former fortress are freely accessible.

The Chapel of Saint Ludmila stands on the village square in Chotěmice. A tall bell tower rises above its gabled roof.

The Vesnický hudební klub Chotěmice organizes concerts. The club is private; the public is not permitted access to its private premises. At the same time, it is closely connected with the Chotěmice 33 farmstead.

Stands of autochthonous woody plants and moisture-loving herbaceous vegetation grow at Olší Pond. The 39 km cycling loop “In the Kingdom of Princess Goldenhair” follows an unmarked road to Chotěmice.

The event “For the SDH Chotěmice Cup” was held in Chotěmice as the 21st edition of a firefighting competition in fire attack.
