Cimelice: Hotels and Accommodation
Culture and History
In the center of Čimelice, the Church of the Most Holy Trinity is an important and highly visible element of the townscape. Its oldest part is the sacristy, probably dating from the first third of the 14th century. In the first half of the 18th century, the Baroque Chapel of St. Barbara was added to the northern side of the single-nave, east-facing church; it is vaulted with a dome and lantern.
The Čimelický Chateau was built in the Baroque style in 1728–1730 and remodeled in 1817.

Landscape and Nature
The Čimelicko–Rakovicko Landscape Heritage Zone, designated in 2002, is located within the municipality of Čimelice. A Baroque avenue connects the Čimelický Chateau with the Rakovický state farm. An English landscape park extends around the Čimelický Chateau. The Skalice stream flows through both parts of the Čimelice settlement.
Near Čimelice lies the Kopáčovská Nature Monument, located in a forest complex near the Krsice–Rakovický mlýn road. It protects a 1.03-hectare wet meadow with protected plant species; the protected area was designated in 1985.
