Křišťanovický Pond lies below Křišťanovice; its water surface is at an elevation of 785 m above sea level. The pond is the highest-altitude pond in the Czech Republic and lies in the Šumava Protected Landscape Area in the Šumava foothills.

History and culture
The ruins of Hus Castle are listed in the Czech register of immovable cultural monuments under registration number 3-3612. Remains of walls and a moat have been preserved at the ruins. Hus Castle was founded after 1341 to protect the Zlatá stezka.
The Zlatá stezka formerly ran through Křišťanovice and is mentioned as early as 1359. Chlumany, which is recorded as an ancient site, lies in the wider regional surroundings of Křišťanovice.
