Culture and History

Slavkovice is home to an immovable cultural monument: a Baroque statue of Saint John of Nepomuk from the second half of the 18th century, protected as a cultural monument.

After 1830, Slavkovice and Slavkovická Hora became part of the Schwarzenberg-Orlík estate by inheritance.

Several kilometres southeast of Pohoří, on Hrad Hill, lie the ruins of a Late Hallstatt hillfort associated with Celtic settlement.

Several Late Hallstatt burial mounds are located in the forest on Malý Kosatín Hill; they lie about 1 km south of Hrad.

Landscape

The area around Mišovice features a picturesque landscape with numerous small sacred structures and landscape monuments, including chapels, wayside shrines and crosses.

There are numerous roads and paths around Mišovice.
