Nature
The Polánka Nature Park is located within the municipal territory of Pohnání. Three marked hiking trails run through the nature park.
On clear days, Šumava and even the Alps can be seen from Pohnání.
The fire-water reservoir in Pohnání also serves as a swimming pool in summer.
Culture and History
The Church of St. Procopius, together with its grounds, is an immovable cultural monument in Pohnání. It was rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1714 and preserves a Romanesque tower with coupled windows. A Baroque cemetery chapel stands behind the church.
Many cultural events take place throughout the year at the cultural centre in Pohnání. The volunteer fire brigade SDH in Pohnání organises a firefighters’ ball every year. The tradition of the Easter song procession is also maintained in Pohnání.

A basic transport connection exists between Pohnání and Ratibořské Hory, Chýnov and Tábor. The Chýnov Cave is located in the vicinity of Pohnání, approximately 6 km away.
