Třebějice: Hotels and Accommodation

Třebějice is home to the Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk. It has a rectangular floor plan, a three-sided chancel termination, and a tower on the west façade. The chapel includes two cast-iron crosses on stone pedestals. The two crosses standing in front of the chapel are protected as part of the chapel heritage conservation. The chapel was probably built in the second half of the 19th century. It preserves contemporary furnishings that are a remarkable example of the sculpture, painting, and arts and crafts of that period.

A pilgrimage takes place in Třebějice in May on St. John’s Day. The writer František X. Jiřík, who wrote under the pseudonym František Hradecký, was born in Třebějice in 1867. Archaeological finds of urns and pottery shards are considered evidence of the ancient founding of Třebějice.

At 500 m, Třebějická hůrka is the highest point in Třebějice. The preserved character of the landscape also includes the Zájezek village pond and the valley of the Dírenský stream.
