The HREJKOVICKÝ POTOK 1 fishing district begins at the boundary signs near the mouth of the Hrejkovický potok into the Orlík Reservoir near Vůsí and extends to the springs.

Fly fishing, float fishing and bottom fishing are permitted in this fishing district. The flooded lower course of the Hrejkovický potok forms an approximately 2 km long, curved bay of the Orlík Reservoir.

Near Vůsí, the Hrejkovický potok flows through a deep and unexpectedly wild valley that is considered a popular destination for hitchhikers.

The Rukávečská game preserve is protected because of a preserved old beech stand. The oldest trees in this stand were planted in 1729.

In the vicinity of Vůsí, there is a rock cave about 1 km south of the village on the Hrejkovický potok; the adjacent path is heavily used by tourists.

Culture and History

The Church of St. Bartholomew is located in the cadastral area of Vůsí. The Romanesque church with an old cemetery stands in the vicinity of Vůsí; the church is an important urban-planning and landscape-defining feature.

In 1960, St. Bartholomew's was moved from the flooded village of Červená to a higher location.

Getting Around

On the Orlík waterway, the Květov/Vůsí site at river kilometre 177 is listed as a designated mooring place for boats.

From Vůsí, the route follows a winding paved road towards the water.
