History and Townscape

Džbánice was first mentioned in writing in 1253. The village suffered severe damage during the Thirty Years' War. Before 1361, Budislav z Našiměřic owned vineyards in Džbánice. Probable remains of the Džbánice fortress lie within the built-up area of today's farmyard. Small crosses stand along the roads in Džbánice.
