Horní Dunajovice: Hotels and accommodations

Culture and history

The Church of the Most Holy Trinity in Horní Dunajovice was built in 1540. Its tower has the greatest deviation from the vertical per metre in the Czech Republic.

The former water-fortress building Starý zámek was probably created in 1536 when Jindřich Březnický converted the earlier fortress into a Renaissance château. In the 19th century, it was converted into a granary; it is currently not open to the public due to its poor condition.

At the pilgrimage site of Panna Maria Lurdská in Rybníky, two pilgrimages currently take place each year: on the last Sunday in May and the first Sunday in September.
