Landscape
Jezeřany-Maršovice is situated in gently hilly terrain on the southeastern slopes of the Krumlovský les, at the northeastern edge of the Znojemsko region. From the higher elevations, there are views southeast toward the Pavlovské vrchy and onward to Austria.

Culture
The Cyrilometodějská pouť takes place in July. On Christmas Eve, the Živý betlém event takes place in Jezeřany. The municipal symbols attest to a long-standing winemaking tradition in both municipalities. The Church of sv. Cyrila a Metoděje was built in 1936 for both villages.
