Osová Bítýška: Hotels and Accommodation

The oldest historic building in Osová Bítýška is the parish church of St. James the Greater. A free-standing tower and remnants of the fortification walls have been preserved from its late medieval fortifications. The Baroque gate of the parish church is also one of the few monuments of its kind in the Czech Republic.

Culture

Osová Castle has been the surviving centre of the estate associated with Osová Bítýška since at least the early 14th century. The castle and park grounds are surrounded by a park with small structures, watercourses and ponds.

Since 1990, the Sýpka Gallery in Osová has served as an exhibition gallery for contemporary art. During the season from spring to autumn, it hosts accompanying events at the intersection of visual and performing arts, as well as musical performances.

Krojované lidové tance and Chasa have a long-standing tradition in Osová Bítýška. In 2007, Krojované lidové tance were associated with the Svatojakubská pouť for the first time. Since 2015, Moravská špacírka has also been danced at the Svatojakubská pouť.

Nationally marked cycle route No. 5241 runs through the area of Osová Bítýška.

The Třídvorský minibar at Třídvorský rybník is a self-service bar open to everyone and intended as a rest stop for walks. The U Františka bar at Třídvorský rybník serves coffee, draught drinks and hot chocolate.
