Cikháj: Hotels and Accommodations

The Žákova hora Nature Reserve protects natural mixed-forest ecosystems characteristic of the higher elevations of the Žďárské vrchy. Tisůvka is an 800-meter-high peak and a natural monument above Cikháj. The mountain Žákova hora is located in the vicinity of Cikháj. The mountains of Devět Skal, Světka, and Rosička are also located near the village. Stříbrná studánka near Žákova hora is considered the source of the Svratka.

The first protection decree for Žákova hora was issued on December 31, 1933.

The Žákova hora educational trail provides information about the nature and history of the primeval forest on Žákova hora. It follows partisan trails and shows one of the sources of the Svratka.

“Do pralesa” is a 13-kilometer hiking route through the Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area. The route begins in Cikháj at a starting point with a spacious parking lot. Near the beginning of the “Do pralesa” route stands a 24-ton stone partisan monument.
