Ostašov: Hotels and Accommodation

The landscape around Ostašov can be viewed from several directions: From the “Lipník side”, there is a panorama of Lipník and the more distant Moravské Budějovice. On the opposite “Petrov side”, the view extends over wooded hills and Sádek Castle. In very favorable weather, the peaks of the Alps can also be seen in the distance from Ostašov.

The meadows known as “Alpská vyhlídka” offer views of the distinctive Alpine peaks Schneeberg and Ötscher in suitable weather.

Cycle Route 3 runs from Lipník via Ostašov and Petrůvky. Cycle Route 6 leads from Petrůvky via Ostašov to Klučovská hora and onward to Střítež. Cycle Route 6 also leads from Ostašov along a field path to Horák pond.

Ostašov was founded in 1716 by František Karel Josef, a baron of Ostešov.
