Rõuge

The Rõuge ürgorg valley was formed at the end of the Ice Age around 15,000 years ago and is located in Haanja looduspark. At its base is a chain of seven lakes: Valgjärv, Liinjärv, Suurjärv, Kaussjärv, Ratasjärv, Tõugjärv and Kahrila järv. They are connected by the Rõuge jõgi.
