Dunavarsány is a Hungarian town in the Szigetszentmiklós District of Pest County.
Road 51 runs through Dunavarsány. The town is connected to the Kőbánya-Kispest–Kunszentmiklós-Tass railway line. Bus connections operate towards Budapest and southern settlements; these include northbound connections to central Budapest and southbound connections to Kiskunlacháza.

Dunavarsány is located on the left bank of the Ráckevei-Duna in the Great Plain, on the boundary between the Csepel Plain (Csepeli-sík) and the Pest Alluvial Fan Plain (Pesti-hordalékkúpsík).
Located on a former branch of the Danube, Dunavarsány lies 24.5 kilometers south of the center of Budapest and 8 kilometers southeast of Szigetszentmiklós.
The town lies on Danube floodplain soils, predominantly sandy soils, at an elevation of 100 to 115 meters; Varsány-hegy reaches 115 meters.
