Karagayly: Hotels and accommodations

Nature

The surrounding area of Karagayly is home to the Volch'ya, Iqılas, and Kaskabas mountains, as well as Bermuda. A mountain route approximately 25 kilometers long leads from the entrance to Ile-Alatau National Park through the Prokhodnoye Gorge and over the Kaskabas Pass to Karagayly; it takes about eight hours. The route includes a westward section through groves and gardens before reaching the settlement, as well as an optional ascent to a 2,305-meter-high summit offering views of the surrounding mountains.

Activities

Guided horseback rides are offered above the Karagayly Reservoir in Ile-Alatau National Park. Tours ranging from 90 minutes to four hours are available; they take place under the supervision of an instructor.
