The Stone of Genionys, also called Kiškio bažnyčia, is a mythological site next to the village of Genionys in Varėna District Municipality. The gray-brown granite boulder rises 1.15 m above the ground and is 2.6 m long and 1.8 m wide. According to V. The Old Cemetery of Genionys is located on a small hill, 2 to 3 m high; its northern and eastern slopes are covered with pine trees. The cemetery dates from the 18th to the 19th century and is considered a presumed medieval and early modern burial monument.

In the vicinity of Genionys, individuals or visitor groups may visit the “Čepkelių mokomasis takas” educational trail independently for educational purposes from August 1 to March 1, within the trail boundaries and only during daylight hours. From March 1 to August 1, individuals or visitor groups may visit it for educational purposes only when accompanied by a specialist from the Directorate of Dzūkija National Park and the Čepkeliai State Nature Reserve.
In the vicinity of Genionys, the beach of Lake Žiežulis can be reached via a 1.6 km-long nature trail. The beach has a bridge, a wooden structure for reclining and sunbathing, changing rooms, benches and pavilions.
Also in the vicinity of Genionys, the approximately 3.6 km-long “Girinio pažintinis takas” educational trail runs through the pine forests on the southern edge of Marcinkonys, around the pond of an old mill. The trail has recreational facilities, pavilions and a beach. There, visitors can observe plants and fungi of the Dzūkija pine forests, as well as birds and aquatic animals at Duobupis Pond.
Lake and wetland
Lake Genionys, also called Urmis, has an area of 2.99 ha and a shoreline of 0.67 km. It has low, marshy shores covered with shrubs; a wetland of approximately 11 ha extends along its shores. Fishing in Lake Genionys is permitted only with a valid recreational angling permit L05.01 or with the right to fish free of charge.
