The Pamusių burial mound field is located approximately 0.2 km west of Pamusiai on the Jurgionys–Babriškės road and covers more than 100 burial mounds across 4 hectares. It is considered the largest and well-researched burial monument in this area. Cremation burials dating from the 8th to the 10th century were found there.

Cycling

The 40 km section of the Varėnos Didziulio cycle path from Varėna to Daugai runs through the surroundings of Pamusiai, Vaikantonys and Kančėnai. The Varėnos Didziulio cycle path connects Varėna and Daugai. Completing the entire route takes approximately two to three days.

Nature

The Pamusių miškas forest can be reached from Pamusiai via a forest road branching off from the Alytus–Vilnius road in the village. The Pamusio rest area is located in the vicinity of the Pamusių miškas forest. The Pamusis rest area is 150 m beyond the “Pamusių miškas” sign.

Water

The kayaking route on the Varėnė can begin in Pamusiai. The water route on the Varėnė passes by Pamusių miškas and Pamusiai. After the section starting from Pamusiai, the Varėnė flows through a swampy valley covered with tall stands of reeds.
