Karklė: Hotels and Accommodations

Net fishing is still practiced in Karklė today. The village has preserved its ethnographic character, history, and traditions. At the traditional festive coastal community gathering “Menkinė,” held in September, traditional crafts, games, traditional cod fish soup, and local folklore are presented.

Karklė is located in the “Pajūris” Regional Park. Karklė has pebble beaches and white-sand beaches. The Olando kepurės cliff is a distinctive natural monument.

Trails

The health trails near Karklė are marked with color-coded arrows; information boards stand at the trail intersections. The “Litorina” educational trail runs between Olando Kepurė and Kukuliškiai Hill.
