Muo: Hotels and accommodations

At the center of Muo stands the settlement’s parish church. Those wishing to book a hotel in Muo can continue their accommodation search afterward. The church was dedicated to Mary, Help of Christians, in 1864 and preserves the body of Blessed Gracija in a silver sarcophagus. It is therefore a shrine connected to a religious figure born in Muo and associated with the sea.

Muo’s waterfront faces the old town of Kotor on the opposite side of the bay and combines panoramic views with stone houses, fishing boats and small cafés along the shore.

Muo is also connected with kayaking excursions from the Kotor area: they cross the bay to the village and continue along the western coast.

Getting there

From Kotor’s old town, Muo can be reached via an approximately 30-minute walk along the water, as well as by bicycle over a short distance or by car. Seasonal water taxis make it possible to arrive by boat across the strait.

Character of the village

Muo is small enough to explore on foot from one end of the settlement to the other in about 15 minutes. This makes the Riva and the village atmosphere practical for a short stay or as an addition to a visit to Kotor.

The coastal road and the route along the water continue from Muo toward Prčanj and Stoliv, creating the opportunity for a longer tour beyond the settlement along the bay on foot or by bicycle.
