The memorial complex consists of three broad plateaus. Its central feature is a sculptural composition of a moving column by Miodrag Živković. The complex was designed and built between 1977 and 1978. The first plateau contains four memorial busts. The memorial park also includes a plateau made up of 272 cubes engraved with the names of local fighters who fell in the National Liberation Struggle.

The Church of Saint Nicholas was built near Grahovo between 1499 and 1502. It has been protected as a cultural monument since 1957.

Nature

Near Grahovo lies Grahovsko jezero, a reservoir built on the Grahovska River and used for agricultural purposes and for irrigating the Grahovo Field.

The Kovačević family arboretum near Čeline in Grahovo comprises 127 species of trees, shrubs and woody climbing plants, including 33 elements of the native Montenegrin flora and 94 introduced species. It is described as Montenegro’s only botanical garden of its kind.

Rural Life and Culinary Delights

Đedovina preserves an authentic setting of the life of ancestors and agricultural production in Grahovo. Activities offered there include walks, visits to cultural and historical monuments in the village, cycling and agricultural activities. The Bulajić family in Đedovina grows fruit and vegetables, including potatoes and corn.

Near Grahovo, at the historic site of Grahovac, is the Grahovac 1858 restaurant, which serves national cuisine.

Routes

The official map of the panoramic roads designates PR3A as the Risan–Grahovo–Nikšić route. A cycling route also passes through the area near Grahovo: from the town centre, it branches onto a narrow asphalt road that leads approximately 4.5 km to Grahovsko jezero.
