Tušina: Hotels and Accommodation

Culture and History
Tušina is home to the “Novice Cerović House” Memorial Museum. The house dates from the 19th century and preserves a fully intact interior, as well as the decorations and medals of Montenegro’s first honorary ban. It is located beside the Boan–Šavnik road, near the “St George's Church”.
Another historic site is Podmalinsko Monastery, which is dedicated to the Archangel Michael. According to tradition, the monastery was founded by King Uroš I around 1252. It has been undergoing restoration since 1998. The churchyard contains the grave of Mirko Aleksić, a prominent Drobnjak hero. Podmalinsko Monastery is three kilometres from Tušina.
Nature
The hosts of the homestead in Tušina can show visitors hidden waterfalls and natural pools. The Tušina homestead can also organise a tour to a nearby pond, where freshly caught fish is prepared together. Swimming in the Bukovica River is also offered at the Tušina homestead.
The wider regional area around Šavnik is described as an area with more than 20 mountain and hiking routes. These pass through river and canyon landscapes to viewpoints, lakes, and mountain peaks.
Local Products
The Ćirović homestead produces homemade rakija, juices, jams, and liqueurs from fruit grown on its own property. The homestead also dries harvested tea and offers it to visitors for tasting in summer.
