Beach and Coast

In Uvala Maslina in Kunje, the beach sections designated as public family bathing areas are 30, 75 and 65 metres long; there are also designated beach areas. Paljuškovo Beach in Bušat is a 50-metre-long public, organised bathing area on a plot of land in Kunje.

Uvala Maslina (Utjeha) is a 200-metre-long beach covering an area of 5,200 square metres. A camping area for up to 30 camping units is also planned for Uvala Maslina in Kunje; in addition, a temporary parking area has been designated. Access to the protected area and its coast is via local unpaved roads.

Nature

The Stari Ulcinj Nature Park encompasses the coastal area of Kunje and is a Category IV protected area. The protected Stari Ulcinj Nature Park covers 929.16 hectares and has a boundary of 17.62 kilometres.

Culture

In the surroundings of Kunje, the island of Stari Ulcinj features visible archaeological remains. Valdanos Bay is also part of this area: it contains a cultural landscape with church remains at Cape Mendra and centuries-old olive groves inland.

Local Life and Leisure
