Nowe Skalmierzyce: Hotels and Accommodation

Nowe Skalmierzyce is located in Poland, in the Greater Poland Voivodeship and Ostrowo County.

The former border station complex of Skalmierzyce includes a customs station building at 19 Kolejowa Street, dating from 1906 and entered in the heritage register.

At 43 Kaliska Street stands a former Protestant church, which is now the Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. The church dates from 1911; the associated vicarage is also listed.

The school building at 52 Kaliska Street is listed as a structure from 1909, with alterations made in 1929–1930.

Nowe Skalmierzyce is home to a historic brick water tower, built in 1905, approximately 25 metres high, renovated in 2010 and described as a heritage monument.

The water tower is described as a place for walks and excursions; it is surrounded by a park used for recreation.

An official municipal exhibition in Nowe Skalmierzyce presented archaeological research from Skalmierzyce. On display were well-preserved finds from a large settlement described as approximately 2,000 years old and associated with the Przeworsk culture.
