The Spichlerz is an 18th-century wooden building about 150 metres from the castle. Its ethnographic exhibition explores the culture of the Spisz region. The opening hours are an important point to keep in mind when planning your visit: the Spichlerz is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. between May 1 and September 30 and is closed outside this season.

Established in 2019, Bacówka Edukacyjna is a small centre for environmental and cultural education. It presents the history and culture of pastoral traditions. The bacówka also displays traditional equipment used for pastoral activities and for making regional products such as Oscypek and Bundz. Wozownia in Niedzica-Zamek showcases historic horse-drawn vehicles from 1900 to 1939, including carriages and sleighs. These places focus on different themes: pastoral traditions and regional products sit alongside the history of horse-drawn transport.

The Miniature Park in Niedzica-Zamek features models at a scale of 1:20. The buildings from the Podtatra region include the castles of Dunajec, Lubowla, Orawa, Czorsztyn and Pieniny, the Red Monastery, the church in Dębno, and the manor houses of the Tetmajer and Uznański families. Those interested in architecture can view several regional examples in miniature here. Another landmark is the dam in Niedzica: with a central clay core, it is Poland’s tallest earthfill dam; it is 56 metres high and 404 metres long.

What is there to do on the water?

Zamajerz marina near Niedzica-Zamek rents out kayaks and pedal boats and offers moorings as well as yacht and rowing-boat charters. Sightseeing cruises are also available. A pumpabike—a hydrofoil craft on Jezioro Czorsztyńskie—is offered as a special attraction. There are several ways to enjoy the water: take out a boat yourself, charter a watercraft or choose a sightseeing cruise.

The landing stage for the Biała Dama, Harnaś and Dunajec sightseeing boats is just below the castle in Niedzica. From Polana Sosny in Niedzica, kayaking routes head upstream on the Dunajec and on the Białka between Jurgów and Czarna Góra. These routes follow different stretches of river and pass the named locations; no specific distances are given here.
