Solinki: Hotels and Accommodation
History and Remembrance
Sulinki emerged in the 19th century as an estate farm belonging to the Komarno estate. Around the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the estate farm was parceled out and the Sulinki colony was established. Anyone wishing to book a hotel in Solinki can then continue searching for accommodation.
During the Second World War, Solinki was subjected to German reprisals; 30 people were killed in the process.
The monument with the eagle in the crown, erected by the residents of Solinki, was built in July and August 1957. The burial site of the victims of the pacification action of 1943–1944 in Solinki is one of the war graves and military cemeteries dating from 1957.
Residents, clergy from the surrounding communities, authorities from the powiat and the municipalities of Konstantynów and Leśna Podlaska, as well as primary schools with flag detachments, take part in the patriotic commemorative ceremonies held annually in autumn in Solinki. Every year, the commemorative ceremonies include a solemn Mass in memory of the residents executed in 1943–1944, as well as a traditional gathering at the local monument, where flowers are laid and candles are lit.
The Góra Uszeście hill lies in the wider regional surroundings of Solinki.
