The oak avenue is characterised by pedunculate oaks with trunk circumferences of 220 to 550 centimetres. The varying trunk sizes give the avenue a diverse appearance. In addition to its historical value, the Hüttenteich pond is home to plant species and communities that are rare in the region and even across the country.
