Which trails suit your stay?

Another trail passes through the hamlet of Winnica and leads to a ridge. Views are described from there of the eastern Łysogóry range, including Łysa Góra and Chełmiec, and of the western Jeleniowskie range, including Góra Jeleniowska and Szczytniak. The route crosses the Słupianka valley, where the stream has cut deeply into loess soil; bank erosion is visible there. Stay on suitable trails along such sections and check conditions on site. A stone cross from 1923 stands beside the road on this route, providing a specific historical landmark.
Chapel, cross and manor
The village has a wooden chapel with a sheet-metal roof, paintings and a figure of the Virgin Mary. A large brick cross commemorates the Church of the Martyrs Vincent and Anastasius, which burned down in 1797. According to its inscription, Walenty and Marianna Karbowniczkowie had the cross erected on 3 May 1841. Nearby are a figure of the Virgin Mary on a sandstone column and a chestnut tree with a trunk circumference of more than four metres. This small group of landmarks tells you more about the village than an imprecise list of distant castles.
West of the manor is a park of around 1.5 hectares, with rows of lime trees along its boundary. A historic granary stands beside the manor, and there is a viewing mound in the park. However, the grounds should not be treated as a public park with free access: the manor is private, and entering the park requires the owner’s consent. The viewing mound in the park is therefore not a generally accessible viewpoint either. Plan a walk around the village so that it is possible without entering private property.
