Culture

Korycizna is designated as one of the three parts of Śródborze; the place was formerly an independent village.

In the wider regional surroundings of Korycizna are Sandomierz, with a wooden castle complex dating from the 11th century, the ruins of Krzyżtopór (Ujazd), Parafia św. Marcina in Opatów, as well as Truskolaska, Wesołówka, and Witosławska. The limestone outcrops in this area contain pieces of striped flint.
