Culture and History
Skolity has a historic parish church dedicated to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The building comprises a single-nave section, a pseudo-Gothic chancel, and a transept; the nave was rebuilt after a fire in 1708, while the transept and sanctuary were added between 1907 and 1911.
The interior features polychrome decoration from 1753–1763, a Baroque high altar dating from 1684, and a Renaissance triptych dating from 1557.
