Sebeș: City Walls, Churches and Râpa Roșie

The city walls of Sebeș are documented by an official construction document dating from 1387. They form a rectangular enclosure with rounded corners around the inner city and separate the historic centre. The complex covers approximately 20 hectares and has a circumference of 1,700 metres.

The Croitorilor/Studentului Tower is square and has a ground floor plus four additional storeys; the later storeys were added in the 15th and 16th centuries.
