Culture and history

The Szeklerland Public Hunting Collection is housed in Casa Bene, a historic landmark building in Sfântu Gheorghe that was built in 1914 and renovated in 2013. The Szeklerland Hunting Exhibition comprises more than 500 hunting trophies.

Nature and open spaces

Elisabeta Central Park is the largest park in Sfântu Gheorghe and features shaded paths along a small pond with water lilies. It also includes a labyrinth and a playground.

The lake in the Gara district is surrounded by a green area of approximately three hectares with paved paths, a running track with a tartan surface, and sports fields.

At the Una cu Natura–Vadon Visitor Center in Șugaș-Băi, visitors can explore the exhibitions using 3D models, interactive panels, and sound effects. The center presents meadows, alpine pastures, forests, habitats around bodies of water, and peat bogs.

Sepsi Bike is Sfântu Gheorghe’s bicycle rental system and was launched with 120 bicycles.

Markets

The Târg de Toamnă takes place every year in Piața Libertății in Sfântu Gheorghe and usually lasts for one weekend. It presents traditional products and harvest produce. The Târg de Toamnă includes demonstrations of traditional crafts and cooking demonstrations.
