Comuna Găleşti is one of the communes in Mureş County with a very high concentration of built cultural heritage of national cultural interest. Casa Tolnay in Găleşti is listed as a historic monument dating from the 17th century. The Unitarian church in Sânvăsii is listed as a historic monument dating from the 14th to 15th century.

Cetatea de la Găleşti – Singervára is a fortification from the Roman and medieval periods, situated on a hill south of the former village of Sânvăsii.

The wooden church in Troița has a freestanding bell tower with an open ground floor, a narrow gallery with arches, and a steeply pitched roof.

A coin attributed to Béla III was discovered in a grave above the church wall of the Unitarian church in Sânvăsii; this dates the construction of the church to the late 12th or early 13th century.

The Unitarian church of Nyárádszentlászló features both Romanesque and Gothic architectural elements. Exceptionally valuable wall paintings in the Transylvanian context were uncovered in its Gothic sacristy between 2009 and 2015. Nyárádszentlászló is a settlement shaped by heritage conservation in the central Niraj region and is administratively part of the commune of Găleşti. The settlement is already documented in the papal tithe register of 1332 under the name Sancto Ladislao.

Routes

Public transport route 020 connects Târgu Mureș via Acățari with Troița and is 26 km long.

As a pilgrimage-style hiking route, the Via Unitariana follows the Niraj to the lower foothills of the Gurghiu Mountains and passes, among other places, Nyomát and Nyárádszentlászló. The EKE cultural and historical hiking route runs from Nyárádremete via Mikháza, Jobbágytelke, Nyárádszereda, and Nyárádszentlászló to Berekeresztúr.

Landscape

The Nyomát stream crosses Nyárádszentlászló from north to south. The churchyard of Nyárádszentlászló is home to the trunk of a manna ash tree estimated to be between 350 and 400 years old. Two linden trees in the churchyard of Nyárádszentlászló were planted in 1896 to mark the millennium celebration of the Hungarian conquest of the Carpathian Basin in 896.

The summit of Firtos-tető lies in the wider regional surroundings of Comuna Găleşti. The hill Dealul Sântana is also located in the wider regional surroundings of Comuna Găleşti, as is the hill Dealul Călugărului.
