The Church of the Holy Archangel Gabriel is located in the centre of Veliko Gradište. It was built in 1852 on the site of an older church dating from 1720 and has a Neoclassical-style façade. The “Vuk Karadžić” National Library is the oldest cultural institution in the municipality of Veliko Gradište. Veliko Gradište is also located on the Danube, one of Europe’s most important waterways.

There are three developed types of beach around Silver Lake near Veliko Gradište: pebble, grass and concrete beaches. The Aqua Park Silver Lake is also located directly on the promenade. Families can therefore choose between different water-based activities without all travellers having to pursue the same activity.
