At the center is a four-meter-high monument to Princess Milica, featuring a bronze statue on a pedestal. The Church of the Holy Trinity is also located in the center. It was not built in the Morava style and served as a model for builders at the beginning of the 20th century. The House of Petar Katić is a merchant's house in the historic center. The old town center has been partially preserved and dates largely from the period after the First World War.

The bridges and riverbanks are also part of the town's history. The first iron bridge over the Zapadna Morava in Trstenik was built in 1899. After the earlier bridge was destroyed, a new iron bridge was built in 2000. A monument to the soldiers who fell in the Second World War stands in a park near the Old Bridge on the right bank of the Zapadna Morava. The Trstenik Theatre has been performing on stage for almost a century.

In the area around Trstenik, Jefimijini Dani takes place at Ljubostinja Monastery. The program includes poetry, a women's art colony and a music program. At the event “Trstenik on the Morava,” a Morava swimming marathon and fishing competitions are traditionally held; people also jump from the bridge into the water, and fish soup is cooked on the beach.
