Things to do

In Radomlje, the Domžalska pot spominov has checkpoint 17 at the NOB monument at Križkarjeve smrekce; the stamp station is freely accessible. From checkpoint 16 near Rudnik pri Radomljah, Radomlje can be reached along the Domžalska pot spominov in approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.

The Volčji Potok Arboretum is located in the vicinity of Radomlje. From Domžale or Kamnik, it can be reached on foot or by bicycle via a wide gravel path along the Kamniška Bistrica.

Culture

The Gothic Church of St Margaret the Martyr in Radomlje was first mentioned in 1391. A more than 200-year-old linden tree stands in front of the church. The preserved Gothic chancel is one of the finest preserved Gothic sacred spaces in the surrounding area. The church is accessible during services; groups can visit it by prior arrangement.

The stone arch bridge near the Pri Mlinar farmstead is part of the technical heritage of the Radomeljska Mlinščica.

The local cultural life also has regular events. The theatre group of Kulturno društvo Mlin Radomlje stages at least one play every year. Since 1991, Kulturno društvo Mlin Radomlje has organised the traditional Miklavževanje.

Food and crafts

Mlin Kralj Radomlje is a small family business with a tradition dating back to 1872 that mills and dehusks all types of grain.

The Pr' Soud farm offers numerous homemade dishes; during a visit, guests can also see farm animals. Horse riding is also available at the farm by prior arrangement.
