Nature and Activity

The Grossmannova Trail leads through Mala Nedelja along forest paths between fields and surrounding settlements. The Biotermalna cycling route is not signposted locally. It is designed as a circular route and connects Bioterme Mala Nedelja with the surrounding villages. This provides two differently described routes for walks and bike tours: a hiking trail through Mala Nedelja and an unsigned cycling loop between the thermal spas and the villages.

Bioterme Mala Nedelja was developed as a complex consisting of outdoor pools, covered pools, and a restaurant. The origins of the thermal facilities date back to recent history: thermal water was discovered in Moravci in the Slovenske gorice in 1958, and development of the Bioterme began there in 2002.

Culture and Events

An important cultural site is the Church of the Holy Trinity in Mala Nedelja. It has pointed Gothic windows in the nave as well as early Baroque frescoes from the beginning of the 17th century. The church is also protected as a cultural and architectural monument.

The local cultural life includes “Dober den pri Mali Nedli,” a traditional local event in Mala Nedelja featuring a cultural, sporting, and entertainment program with the participation of local associations. Thematic events are held at the Čitalnica as part of the commemoration of “Beseda”; they are organized by the school and local associations.

Historical traces are also part of the character of the area: a monument to Anton Krempl was erected near Mala Nedelja in 1895. At the traditional Martinovanje event, held by the Mala Nedelja winegrowers’ association on November 9, 2025, in the new park in Mala Nedelja, the must was ceremonially baptized.

The “Digitalna tabla” in Mala Nedelja provides visitors with information about the area, the municipality, and other tourist offerings throughout the year. The “Vaška tržnica” is located beneath a pergola; it is a market area where vendors and associations can present products from their work or activities.
