Nesvizh is the city where the first Belarusian aristocracy was born. Governors and founders of Nesvizh became famous throughout the medieval Europe princes Radzivil. This powerful clan ruled Nesvizh for three centuries (from the middle of the sixteenth to the mid-nineteenth century).

After, Radzivil left the city a great legacy: legends, monuments, and the emblem of the glory of Medieval center of Belarus.

Palace and park assembly in Nesvizh is the main sight of the city. The pearl of the assembly is Radzivil Castle-Residence. The castle was built in 17 century. The castle has been repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt before gained its current look. But the castle is still being restored. In 2002, the Residence of Radzivil severely damaged due to fire.

Located not far from Nesvizh the medieval castle in the town of Mir is another bright sight. Recently, Mir Castle was restored and added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Later, the Niasvizh castle was added to the list.

Nesvizh become a platform for the knights' tournaments and festivals. Fans of medieval culture come to the festival from all over Belarus. Also clubs of Lithuania, Ukraine and Poland take part in knight festivals. Lata, battles, medieval music, fakel-carriers, The festival in Nesvizh is a truly magical sight.
